Debdaru Police Arrested 9 Offenders.

Amarpur, Tripura, 5th of October 2025 : Under the supervision of Debdaru OP OC Bakuljoy Reang 9 criminals have been nabbed last night in Kowaifung area under Baikhura police station in Shantir Bazar, South Tripura. As per the report, Kowaifung Puja committee has organized an orchestra programme to provide entertainment for the locals. During orchestra programme time some outlaw persons were creating disturbance and broke social peace and harmony in the area. Based on public information the police team of Debdaru OP has come into active promptness and took immediate action; nabbed some outlaw rascals. Filed case against them as per their illegal activities. The police team has raided the gambling spots; arrested the concerned gamblers including gambling articles and cash money.

Sources said total 9 culprits have been arrested due to engagement with illegal social activities. The Debdaru OP OC said, “To maintain law and order we are always in action. Gambling, drugs utility, drinking tendency and all kinds of antisocial activities have been prevailed in society which are destroying our social harmony and defiling our peaceful social status. We will never tolerate like this activities.”
