Amarpur, Tripura, 18th of December 2025 : Demanding immediate implementation of Roman Scripts in education sector for the indigenous students Ampinagar block TMP organization has conducted Mashal Rally here in Tuidu and Chechua villages under Ampinagar block in Gomati Tripura on Thursday (18th December, 2025).
On this occasion a large number of TMP leaders and activists of the Ampi constituency have assembled in the programme venue and marched Teliamura-Amarpur road. They have raised voice to take immediate initiative for the approval of Roman Scripts for the indigenous students as Roman Scripts is most favorable to write Kokborok language and it has been used for Kokborok writing in last many decades.
Sources said, habitually indigenous people are having good captured for writing Kokborok language in Roman Scripts. The rally has raised allegation against minister Bikash Debbarma too as he has hurled blasphemy over TMP. Motha leaders have claimed that he has to beg pardon towards TMP for his rough deeds and behaviour.
Amidst the main leaders there were MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, Ampi block TMP president Sanjay Jamatia, Ampi block former TMP president Subhash Debbarma and many others remained present in the programme.
