On Thursday (2nd April, 2026), in support of BJP-nominated candidate Jahar Chakraborty, State Animal Resource Development Minister Sudhangshu Das conducted a door-to-door outreach campaign in Booth No. 49 of Mandappara area under Dharmanagar Mandal. He was accompanied by local leaders, party workers, and supporters.During the campaign, Minister Sudhangshu Das interacted directly with residents, highlighting various developmental initiatives undertaken by both the central and state governments. He stated that the BJP government remains committed to the overall development of people across all sections of society and is consistently working toward that goal.BJP leaders claimed that they received a positive response from the local residents during the outreach. They expressed confidence that their candidate, Jahar Chakraborty, will secure a decisive victory in the upcoming by-election.It is worth mentioning that as the polling day approaches, political temperature in Dharmanagar continues to rise, with all parties intensifying their campaign activities.
