Dharmanagar, Tripura, 26th of June 2026 : With the objective of building a drug-free society and protecting the youth from the growing menace of substance abuse, Dharmanagar Police organized a massive awareness bike rally on Friday (26th June, 2026).

The rally commenced from the premises of Dharmanagar Police Station under the slogan, “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan” (Drug-Free India Campaign, the Identity of a Developed India). The participants rode through the town’s major roads, spreading awareness among the public about the harmful effects of drug addiction.Police personnel participating in the rally urged citizens to stand united against drug abuse and encouraged young people to lead healthy, disciplined, and addiction-free lives.
A police official from Dharmanagar Police Station stated, “The primary objective of this bike rally is to create a drug-free society and, in particular, to make the youth aware of the devastating consequences of substance abuse. The fight against drugs cannot be successful without the active cooperation of every section of society.”The initiative was widely appreciated by local residents, who described such awareness campaigns as an important step toward safeguarding the younger generation and fostering a healthier and more responsible society.
