Diwali is the festival of light and is one of the most popular festival of India which is celebrated with great fervor and gaiety. BSF troops celebrated at the BSF campuses.
On 23rd Oct 2022 a Diwali Mela was organized by BSF at Frontier Head Quarter, BSF Tripura, Salbagan. The Mela was inaugurated by Smt & Sh Sumit Sharan, IPS, IG Tripura Frontier. BSF personnel and their family members participated with great enthusiasm and zeal with enjoying the various games, food stalls, Cultural programme etc.
The Mela had all the jollities with ethnic food stalls, games, entertainment activities as well as cultural programme for the Seema Praharies their family, children and other invitees. A local troupe also performed the cultural dance.
BSF family including visitors from civil were mesmerized and in awe for the various events and cultural programme.
BSF Jazz / Brass band and the Dog show was the event of attraction and appreciated by all who witnessed the event.
The festival bought happy change and break in the daily routine of the BSF Jawans guarding sensitive Indo-Bangladesh border of Tripura.
