Gomati, Tripura, 6th of August, 2025 : A review meeting on the implementation of the World Bank-supported Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) was convened today in Gomati District under the chairmanship of Mr. Rinku Lather, District Magistrate & Collector. The meeting aimed to assess the ongoing progress of TRESP activities and enhance inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective delivery at the grassroots level.

Key officials including the ADM & Collector, Senior Deputy Collector, District Programme Manager (TRESP), representatives from TRLM, and subject matter specialists from the State Project Management Unit (PMU) — covering Institution Building, Agriculture, and Environment & Safety — participated in the meeting. Discussions focused on identifying field-level challenges, aligning efforts across departments, and accelerating implementation within the defined timeline.
Mr. Lather emphasized the importance of collaborative engagement and continuous support from all departments to help achieve TRESP targets. He appreciated the efforts made so far and called for greater synergy between district and block-level teams.
The meeting highlighted the growing commitment of the district administration and line departments toward rural transformation. With strategic reviews and convergence becoming a regular feature across TRESP districts, the project is set to gain further momentum in empowering Producer Groups (PGs), enhancing agricultural productivity, and building stronger, community-driven rural institutions.
