Drugs Awareness Programme At Ghilatali H.S. School, Kalyanpur.

With the generous initiative of the Police Administration under Kalyanpur PS a drugs awareness programme has been conducted at Ghilatali H.S. School Kalyanpur under Khowai District on Saturday (24th December, 2022). Under the supervision of Kalyanpur PS OC Tapas Malakar the awareness programme has been arranged where students have taken participation in this anti drug awareness programme.

During the programme the police authority has focussed over the drug addiction issue and discussed over the deadly consequence of the drug addiction in the society. The organizer authority has created awareness over the tendency of ganja, alcohol, brown sugar and other drug items which are destroying the youth of our society.

School teacher Dilip Biswas called upon the students to come forward responsibly to stop the drug addiction in the coming days. Secretary of Kalyanpur Press Club Rajib Gshosh highlighted how the increasing number of drug addiction is poisoning the social inequality in the present time and also urged everyone to be alert and cautious about the fact that the future of the society is gradually moving towards deep darkness due to addiction.

OC of Kalyanpur PS Tapas Malakar, expressed his gratitude to all concerned for extending their hands of cooperation to the students and teachers of the school in completing the effort program. He expressed deep concern about how various social vices including drug addiction are destroying our society and requested everyone to take responsibility in the days to come.

The distinguished guests urged everyone in the society to come forward to make the society free from drugs, especially the students and the youth, to take a responsible role in the society, including the parents, so that they do not sink into the sea of addiction.

Kalyanpur Police Administration handed over two volleyballs to the students of the school keeping in mind the special goal that the students of the school are attracted to sports in this effort program.

The programme has been presided by School teacher Kripesh Deb. Kalyanpur Press Club Vice-President Rakhal Bhattacharjee, Teacher Prasenjit Das and other dignitaries were participated in the programme.
