Bengaluru, Karnataka, 25th of May 2026 : Reinforcing its commitment to accessible and inclusive education, East Point Group of Institutions, Bengaluru has announced its scholarship program worth upto ₹3 Crores for deserving students in pursuing their academic goals and seeking admission for the academic year 2026–27. The initiative has been launched in memory of the institution’s Founder Chairman, Dr. S.M. Venkatpathi, whose vision focused on empowering students through quality education and equal opportunity.
This initiative – Dr. S M Venkatpathi Scholarship is aimed at recognizing and supporting meritorious and deserving students across multiple categories, including merit-based, sports, scholarships for differently abled students and from economically weaker section, defence scholarships, and other special category scholarships under institutional guidelines and subject applicable terms and conditions.
As part of this initiative, eligible students may avail scholarships of up to 100%, along with free hostel accommodation in select categories, subject to institutional policies and Scholarship Committee approval. The scholarships will be offered across multiple courses at the institution for a limited period and on a First-Come, First-Serve basis, subject to eligibility criteria, course availability, document verification and scholarship quota.

The scholarship applicability and percentage may vary depending on the course selected, academic performance, entrance examination scores, where applicable, seat category, and availability under the scholarship quota.
