Dhalai, Tripura, 9th of August, 2026 : Evening OPD services will commence at Dhalai District Hospital from next Monday (10th August, 2026). Specialist doctors from the hospital’s outpatient department will provide medical services to patients every day from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This was informed today by Dhalai District Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Bidhan Bhowmik.
Dhalai District Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Bidhan Bhowmik said that the initiative has been undertaken to ensure that people from different parts of the district can access medical services at a convenient time. The introduction of evening OPD services is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services.
He also added that specialist doctors will provide services according to the following schedule: Medicine on Monday, Surgery on Tuesday, Gynaecology on Wednesday, Orthopaedics on Thursday, Ophthalmology on Friday, and ENT on Saturday.
