Dharmanagar, Tripura, 11th of March, 2026 : A new chapter began at Dharmanagar Government College on Wednesday as Dr. Abhijit Sarkar officially assumed charge as the Principal of the college.
On this occasion, the Dharmanagar Town Unit and College Unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a felicitation programme to welcome the newly appointed Principal. Members of the organization warmly greeted Dr. Sarkar by presenting him with a traditional uttariya, a bouquet of flowers, and books as a mark of respect and appreciation.
The members of the organization expressed hope that under the leadership of Dr. Sarkar, Dharmanagar Government College will move forward towards improving the quality of education, maintaining discipline, and ensuring the overall development of students.The ABVP also conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Abhijit Sarkar for his new responsibility and future endeavors. Several office bearers and members from both the town and college units of ABVP were present at the programme.
