‘Her Health Haven’ Camp Held At Khedacherra VC To Promote Women’s Health Awareness.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 11th of March, 2026 : A CLF-level ‘Her Health Haven Camp’ was organized on Wednesday at Nangthauhmo CLF under Khedacherra VC in North Tripura. The camp was arranged with the aim of promoting health awareness and ensuring better healthcare support for women, according to the organizers.Two specialist doctors were present at the camp—a Gynaecologist and a Medicine Specialist. They conducted health check-ups for women and adolescent girls who attended the camp and provided consultations regarding various health-related issues.

Special awareness sessions were also held on topics such as women’s reproductive health, nutrition, anaemia, and prevention of common diseases.A large number of Self-Help Group (SHG) members, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and local women from the area participated in the camp. The participants benefited from health check-ups as well as the awareness discussions conducted during the program.The organizers stated that such initiatives are being taken to increase health awareness among women in rural areas and ensure access to primary healthcare services.
