Dharmanagar. Tripura, 24th of October, 2026 : With the aim of developing sports infrastructure in Dharmanagar of North district and to further encourage the youth in the field of sports, the field of Dinanath Narayani Vidyamandir was inspected. This inspection was conducted in the presence of Tripura Government Minister Tinku Roy.
It is learnt that this initiative has been taken to explore the possibility of converting this field into a modern sports stadium.During the inspection, the possibility of constructing a modern stadium on the field, necessary infrastructure and various related issues were discussed. Various aspects of development of the field were reviewed keeping in mind the convenience of sports-loving youth and common people of Dharmanagar.
Besides the Minister, present in this inspection were Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, officials of the Sports Department, eminent social worker Kajal Das, local leadership and distinguished citizens of the area.Locals hope that if a modern stadium is built at DNV ground, the sports infrastructure of Dharmanagar will be further improved.
Along with that, talented players of the area will get better opportunity to develop their skills and interest towards sports will increase among the coming generation.This initiative is being seen as an important step aimed at development of Dharmanagar, progress of youth and creation of new possibilities in the field of sports.
