Agartala, Tripura, 2nd of December, 2025 : With the initiative of Tripura Gramin Bank organized a Financial Awareness cum Credit Delivery Campaign at the premises of Mata Kasbeswari Kali Temple on Tuesday (2nd December, 2025).
Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Sri Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, IAS (District Magistrate, Sepahijala District), Smt Antara Deb Sarkar, Hon’ble MLA, Kamalasagar Assembly Constituency, Smt Binki Saha, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bisalgarh, Sri Nantu Deb, Block Development Officer, Bisalgarh, Sri Satyendra Singh, Hon’ble Chairman, TGB, Smt Payel Saha, Regional Manager (South),TGB,
The main highlight of the programme was the inauguration of the QR Code facility for the Pranami Account of Mata Kasbeswari Temple, marking an important step towards promoting digital transactions.
During the event, dummy cheques were distributed to beneficiaries under the PMJJBY and PMSBY schemes. Additionally, QR codes and loan sanction letters were handed over to selected borrowers under KCC, PM Suryaghar, and Adwaitya schemes.
All the dignitaries delivered insightful speeches highlighting the importance of financial inclusion and applauded the sincere efforts of TGB in extending banking services to rural and semi-urban areas. They especially appreciated the initiative of conducting such a large-scale awareness and credit delivery campaign.
More than 200 customers participated in the programme, making the event highly impactful and successful.
Overall, the campaign was a grand success and is expected to significantly strengthen the relationship between the Bank and the district administration, while further enhancing financial awareness and inclusion among the rural population.
