Fit India Run under Drug Free Tripura and 35 Km Marathon run under Operation Sanjivani were held in Teliamura on Saturday (12th August, 2023). This marathon run was organized by Khowai District Police. The run from Khowai to Teliamura was organized by the Khowai District Police to celebrate the year of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Independence Day under the Fit India Run campaign. A felicitation programme was held on Operation Sanjivani under the Drug Free Tripura campaign at Ampi Chowmuhani, Teliamura today.
Both events were attended MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy, Khowai District Police Superintendent Dr. Ramesh Ch. Yadav, IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajib Sutradhar, Teliamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhijit Chakraborty, Teliamura Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura, Teliamura Municipal Chairman Rupak Sarkar, Vice Chairman Madhusudan Roy, students of various schools of Teliamura and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
