Agartala, Tripura, 27th November, 2025 : Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Manik Dey on Thursday (27th November, 2025) visited Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital (GBP) Hospital To Enquire About The Health Of The Amitabha Datta & Ratan Roy.
They were brought from Dharmanagar to Agartala GB Hospital on Thursday (27th Thursday, 2025) as his condition became serious. When he arrived at the hospital, CITU state secretary Tapan Das, Tapas Gupta, and others leaders were present. Also present were the wife of Amitabha Datta, daughter, and other family members.
The CITU leadership stayed with him and collaboration with the medical arrangements. Various tests were conducted immediately. After evening, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Manik Dey visited Amitabha Datta and Ratan Roy at the hospital. Among others from the CITU and party leadership who visited were Samar Chakraborty, Dilip Dey, Pradip Saha, Swapan Poddar, and several others.
Manik Sarkar and Manik Dey spoke with the doctors regarding Amitabha Datta’s treatment and also interacted with the family members. The leaders also spoke with Amitabha Datta himself to inquire about his health issues. He is currently admitted. More tests will be conducted tomorrow.
Later, the leaders went to see Ratan Roy. They spoke with the doctors and family members there and inquired about various matters. They also spoke with Ratan Roy, who is undergoing treatment.
