Former Deputy Speaker and BJP MLA Biswa Bandhu Sen elected Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly on Friday (24th March, 2023). Former Deputy Speaker and BJP MLA Biswa Bandhu Sen elected as the 15th Speaker of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly. He got 32 votes while opposition CPI(M) and Congress leader Gopal Chandra Roy got 14 votes in the election.
