Former Fire & Emergency Service and OBC Welfare Minister and BJP MLA Ram Prasad Paul was elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly on Tuesday (28th March, 2023). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ram Prasad Paul won from the Suryamaninagar -18 Assembly constituency.
