Agartala, Tripura, 29th of March 2025 : Former MLA Jhumu Sarkar, passed away on Friday (28th March, 2025) at around 10:15 pm minutes. He breathed his last during treatment in GB Hospital. Jhumu Sarkar was suffering from a rare disease that had paralysed the entire lower parts of his body. He was 41 years old. He is survived by his wife and two childrens (One daughter and son). Jhumu passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examination and got the job of a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in 2018.
