Agartala, 24th of February 2024 : Former Tripura Pradesh Congress NSUI President Samrat Roy resigned from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress today (24th February, 2024). He said this through a press conference. He also said that resigned from the primary membership of the Congress party due to irresponsible behaviour in the discharge of organizational duties. In the press conference, Samrat Roy mentioned the increasing unethical treatment of presently congress party activists. Regarding his future plans and potential association with the ruling BJP part, Samrat Roy said that he has not planned any decisions. He will consult with his team members, visit place and then decide.
