Agartala, Tripura, 29th of August, 2025 : A 12-day free residential training programme on Fast Food Making, organized by the Rural Development & Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI), concluded today at its campus in A.D. Nagar, West Tripura. The training began on 18th August and successfully ended on 29th August 2025.

The programme was inaugurated by Sri Siddhartha Khan, Director of RUDSETI. Certified Master Trainer Smt. Anu Das conducted the sessions, providing hands-on training to participants from different blocks. A total of 28 candidates enrolled in the programme, out of which 22 successfully passed the assessment and received participation certificates from RUDSETI. They will also be awarded official certificates from the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India.

The training was offered completely free of cost, with participants receiving free food and accommodation throughout the residential course. Special focus was given to candidates from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, enabling them to acquire skills for self-employment and livelihood opportunities in the fast-growing food sector. At the closing ceremony, the Director along with Senior Faculty Ms. Rashmi Baidya and Faculty Member Mr. Hopereng Debbarma distributed certificates to the successful trainees. The programme aimed to empower youth by equipping them with entrepreneurial skills and practical knowledge, thereby supporting sustainable livelihoods.
