Free Medical Camp & Anti Drug Awareness Organized.

Ampi, Tripura, 7th of September 2025 : With the joint initiative of the TEST (Tipra Engineers’ Society of Tripura) & ONGC a Mega Health Camp cum Anti-Drug Awareness programme has been organized here in Khumpui Academy at Twichakma under Dumakari VC in Hezamara block today where plenty of local villagers have attended the camp and gained appreciable service through this generous initiative.

In this Free medical camp many specialist doctors with medical teams including pharmacist and lab were present in the event. The medical teams have provided free health checkup facility as blood test, pressure test, sugar test, malaria test, HIV test etc and given free medicines to 230 patients. As per the medical officer report, no one has been detected malaria positive nor HIV in the camp. According to the local villagers, 500 mosquito nets also have been distributed amidst the needy families to protect themselves from mosquito.

Under the able guidance and supervision of the TEST secretary Jiban Debbarma the programme was found in promptness to dispose better service for villagers and to follow prescription of the doctors sufficient free medicines have been provided to the local patients. To gain free mosquito nets and free medical facilities a large number of villagers have assembled in the health camp. After having free treatment and medicines as well as better quality of mosquito nets poor inhabitants of the locality have applauded the TEST for their good job.

Amidst the dignitaries Amulya Jamatia, president of TEST, Mr. Birchandra Debbarma, GS, ONGC Employees Union of Tripura, and many others remained present in the programme.
