Mumbai, Maharashtra, 19th of September, 2026 : BITS Design School has entered into a five-year articulation agreement with RMIT University in Melbourne. Under the agreement, selected students who complete the first two years of the Bachelor of Design (Honours) programme at the BITS Design School’s Mumbai campus will have the opportunity to move to RMIT University and complete their Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) degree. Students will also be able to carry forward the credits they have already earned.

Under the agreement, a maximum of five students will be eligible to join RMIT University each year. Upon joining RMIT, they will receive 192 credit points for the programme, after which they will study Design Studio, the Design Honours Project, and one of four major specialisations.
