Mumbai, Maharashtra, 19th of August, 2026 : AI-powered decentralized finance ecosystem InfinityDAO is moving forward with a proposed insurance protection program of up to approximately $1 billion for its IDL token and the wider ecosystem. If the program is formally approved and implemented, it could be viewed as a significant initiative for risk management and institutional confidence in the digital asset sector.
The proposed insurance arrangement is being developed through a UK-based specialist crypto insurance syndicate. The planned coverage is expected to address risks including token default, platform default, digital asset theft and cybercrime, D&O claims, as well as certain risks involving eligible users and stakeholders.

According to InfinityDAO, IDL operates on the Polygon blockchain, while its protocol focuses on AI-driven economic management, liquidity and treasury management. “The proposed insurance program could create an additional institutional layer of protection for digital assets.”
However, the company’s claim of being the “14th insured token” should currently be viewed as a market claim, as there is no universally accepted global ranking for insured tokens.
Insurance does not guarantee a token’s price or returns; coverage will be limited strictly to the risks defined in the final policy.
If the proposed $1 billion coverage becomes legally binding and is independently verified, it could represent a significant milestone for InfinityDAO in strengthening risk management and institutional credibility.
