Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu Visited Land Port Srimantapur And Zero Point Of Indo- Bangladesh Border.

Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of September, 2024 : Hon’ble Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited land port Srimantapur And Zero Point Of Indo-Bangladesh Border on Sunday (22nd September, 2024). Governor met BGB personnel on the Indo-Bangladesh border and distributed sweets. He also visited various departments of Srimantpur land port office. During the visit the Governor directed Srimantpur Land Port Manager (I/C) Debashis Nandi and BSF DIG to improve and enhance security of the land port. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu then attended a meeting at Srimantpur Port Auditorium. In the meeting, the Governor discussed the procedures of the land port, the movement of citizens of the two countries and other issues.

Interacting with media Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu laid emphasis on protecting the Gomati River from pollution and cleanliness on both sides of the river. On the occasion of the World River Day, he said that he participated in the Ganga Puja held on the banks of Gomati River today. During the visit, the Governor was accompanied by the District Magistrate and Collector of Sepahijala District, Dr Siddharth Shiv Jaiswa, BSF DIG Rajeev Agnihotri, senior officials and others.
