Agartala,Tripura, 4th of September, 2025 : With the initiative of District Education Office South Tripura organized South District Level Workshop Cum Awareness on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in collaboration with District Administration South Tripura at Sachin Dev Varman Auditorium Belonia on Wednesday (3rd September, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the events.
Addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the South District Level Workshop Cum Awareness on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the State Government is committed to educating every girl in the State. Schools and safe hostels are being built for girls across the State. This system has created a good environment for girls to be educated and grow up. The State Government wants every girl to become educated by taking advantage of various Government facilities. The Governor said that if they want to realize their dream of growing up, they will have to move forward by facing various challenges.
Jyotsna Akhtar and Tina Tripura shared their personal experiences on how they are continuing their studies despite facing various obstacles. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were MLA Swapna Majumdar, Pramod Reang, President of South Tripura Zilla Saha-Sabhadipati Dipak Datta, and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event. On this auspicious occasion of artists students attractive cultural programmes like dance, song to beautify the ceremony.
