Agartala, Tripura, 16th of March 2025 : on specific input of The Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) based on secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Sunday (16th March, 2025).
According to the GRP police, along with the RPF, arrested 2 women drug peddlers from Agartala Railway Station, and seized a total of 10.755 Kg dry cannabis Worth ₹ 1 lakh 60 thousand. They wanted to take it to other state by train using Agartala railway station. A case under the NDPS section has been registered against them at Agartala GRP police station. It is estimated that many more people may be arrested in this case. They will be sent to the High Court tomorrow. According to GRP the names of the arrested person 2 women drug peddlers Uma Debi (50) Shahrsa, Bihar and Kajal Devi (35), Shahrsa, Bihar.
