Agartala, Tripura, 9th of January, 2026 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested one (1) Bangladeshi National and one (1) Indian Tout from Agartala Railway station in front main gate.

According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala on Thursday (8th January, 2026) at about 3 PM on the basis of secret information GRP & RPF one Bangladesi namely Amir Hossain (25), S/O- Md. Jalal Sardar of Ramnagar, P.O- Kalikapur, Sub–Division Kaliganj, District- Sathkhira, Bangladesh and Indian tout namely Sultana Bibi (24), D/O- Mustofa Saha of Erendabar, PS- Egra, Dist- Purbo Medinipur, West Bengal.
During their interrogation they stated that they were entered into India through Sepahijala District Border. Accordingly GRP & RPF arrested them from Agartala Railway station in front main gate.
A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2026GRP004, U/S-61(2)/249(b) BNS, 2023 & U/S- 14(A)(b)/ 14(C) of the Foreigner Act-1946 & U/S- 03 of IPP Act (Entry into India Amendment-2000) has registered against them.
