Agartala, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (9th August, 2025) evening. Agartala GRP, RPF, Division jointly conducted this operation. A team of officers from GRP Police Station recovered one kidnapped minor girl.
According to sources, about 5 PM recovered one kidnapped minor girl namely Sharmila Nath (16), D/O- Sukanta Nath Of Chalitachari, Dinesh Majumder Para, Ps-Manu Bazar along with suspect namely Suman Rudra Paul (38) at Agartala Railway Station in C/W Manu Bazar PS, Case No-2025/MNB/023, Dated-27/07/2025, U/S-137 (2) of BNS 2023. Agartala GRP, RPF, handed over to Manu Bazar PS staff.
