Sonamura, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : A man was arrested tonight in connection with a rape case at Sonamura Police Station. According to sources, Sonamura PS a man was arrested and he will be sent to the High Court today. This case was filed at Sonamura Police Station on 14th April, 2025. He disappeared and has been on the run for a long time since the incident. He was arrested from Sonamura based on secret information. The allegation against him is that he has done illegal things with his son’s wife. His name is Mokhlesh Miah (50), S/O- Lt. Lal Mia, residence of Barpathari, Police Station, Sonamura, Sepahijala, Tripura.
