Amarpur, Tripura, 3rd of January 2026 : Maharani Hrangkhawl, the assistant professor of Government Degree College of Khumulwng has obtained Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree from the Gujrat University. As per the report, she was registered for the Ph.D programme under Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and has submitted her doctoral thesis entitled.
With the effect from 3rd of January 2026 she is entitled to use the title of “Dr.” before her name. By her heart and soul research which was carried out under the supervision of professor Dr. Nisha T. Rampal, professor & head, department of Hindi, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad this appreciable achievement has been glorified before her name. The thesis was duly evaluated as per University regulations by external examiner appointed for the evaluation was professor Dr. Dipendra, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat. After successful evaluation and completion of the viva-voce examination, the thesis was approved by the competent authority of the university including professor Dr. Darshan Bhatt, Director of Language, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Based on the satisfactory completion of all academic and administrative requirements prescribed by Gujarat University, the Ph.D. degree has been formally approved, and Maharani Hrangkhawl has been declared qualified for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Hindi.
