Khowai, Tripura, 3rd of January, 2026 : With the Initiative of Police Station of Khowai Debate Competition on Protecting Society From Crimes Against Women and Impact of Drug Awareness has been organized in Collaboration with the Dasaratha Deb Memorial College at collage premises, Khowai, Tripura on Saturday (3rd January, 2025).
In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Khowai Zilla Saha-Sabhadipati Aparna Singh Roy (Datta) inaugurated the event.
It was highlighted how the growing threat of addiction is affecting society and having an adverse impact on young men and women, ultimately leading to the erosion of the social structure.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were District Superintendent of Police Ranaditya Das, Officer-in-Charge of Khowai Police Station Krishnadhan Sarkar, advocate Abhijit Bhattacharjee, Principal of Dasaratha Deb Memorial College (DDMC) Dr. Khokan Majumdar and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event. A large number of student participated in this event with great zeal and enthusiasm.
