Noida,17th of April 2026 : In yet another effort to support the budding creators, HIFFIN, known for its range of photography and videography accessories, organised a well-attended Content Creation 101 Workshop. The event was led by ace photographer Jassi Oberoi, who is also the Founder of Xploring Light.
Photographer and mentor Jassi Oberoi shared insights from his experience with the students. During the session, he demonstrated different types of illumination created by using LED lights. He spoke about how lighting plays a key role in content creation. He also shared practical tips on building better visual content with the right approach and planning.
Speaking about the workshop, Mr. Vikas Sehgal, Managing Director, HIFFIN said, “Our workshop has been meant to give students first-hand experience of lighting and content creation, which we believe will help them develop their skills further. It is our effort to enable individuals and organisations with the right knowledge along with the right tools, which in turn helps unlock their creative potential.”
He added that the workshops like these help bridge the gap between what students learn in classrooms and what the industry actually demands. “Lighting is often underestimated, but it plays a crucial role in how content is perceived. When creators know how to use light effectively even simple setups can deliver strong results,” he elucidated.
Oberoi brought real-world insights and hands-on demonstrations to the session. The students got exposure to various lighting techniques, and also about the use of LED lighting in the workshop. They were also educated about creating good visuals through effective lighting and planning. The participants understood the concepts of quality creation with easy-to-access tools by participating in informative sessions and discussions.
HIFFIN will continue this approach of enhancing skills among youth with such programs and plans to conduct more such workshops within the NCR region.
Around hundred students of photography took part in this workshop. The workshop focused on bridging the gap between theory and practice, with an emphasis on lighting techniques and content creation using the right equipment.
