Hon’ble Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Today Inaugurates of 132 KV transmission line From Ambassa to Ganganagar. Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble MP Rebati Tripura and other officials were present.
The project was shelved after thirteen years and the NEC had taken back the allocated fund. The BJP-IPFT Govt. after coming to power took up the matter, arranged the fund and completed the line up to the remote tribal area of Ganganagar in 3 years and further it will be extended to Gandacherra by Dec 2021. This transmission line is a milestone as it will ensure stable electricity to these far flung tribal areas after so many decades.
