Hon’ble Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday (5th September, 2021) paid floral tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan former President of India, on his birth anniversary at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala.

Every year, Teachers’ Day is celebrated in India on 5th September, the birthday of the former President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was one of the most recognised and influential Indian thinkers in the field of academics. A well-known Scholar, Statesman, Philosopher, and Teacher. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the first Vice-President of India from 1952 to 1962 and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.
