With the initiative of Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of Tripura has been inaugurated a newly constructed two storied administrative building of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre) at Amarpur Kathal Bagan in Gomati district on Monday (14th November, 2022). Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated administrative building of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing the participants the CM said, “Our BJP administration is giving most priority over agriculture sector to boost the agricultural productions. To provide different kinds of agricultural govt. amenities to farmers BJP government is creating various beneficial initiatives for the state farmers. This KVK office will help the local cultivators in many ways. The concerned departmental staff of this office will always stay in touch with the poor farmers for their project development ahead.”
The Chief Minister also said, major decision regarding the development of National Highways in Tripura was taken in a meeting held in Guwahati in the presence of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. Earlier there were four National Highways in the state. Seven more are currently in progress.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha distributed agricultural machinery among the beneficiaries by Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of Tripura through this programme. Pranajit Singha Roy, Hon’ble Agriculture, Transport & Tourism Minister, Ram Pada Jamatia, Hon’ble Tribal Welfare Minister, Ranjit Das, MLA Amarpur, Biplab Ghosh, MLA Matabari, other officials and dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony. Moreover, the presence of the general public of the area was quite noticeable during this opening ceremony. To avail like this splendid KVK new office building the local people Amarpur are found very happy.
