Agartala, Tripura, 18th of November, 2024 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Gedu Mia Masjid in Shibnagar, Agartala on Monday (18th November, 2024). Governor highlighted the Gedu Mia Masjid, which is under Tripura tourism, is situated in a peaceful and beautiful environment. During this visit, the Governor visited everything inside and outside the mosque. He exchanged views with the authorities of the mosque on the history of the mosque and its renovation. The Governor said that tourism is a big industry. Many people are directly or indirectly employed through hotels, restaurants, vehicles etc. associated with tourism. State Minority Development Corporation Chairman Jasim Uddin, State Waqf Board Chairman Moboshar Ali, other members of Gedu Mia Masjid Committee were present during the visit.
