Agartala, Tripura, 19th of November, 2024 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Regional Office of Rubber Board in Agartala on Tuesday (19th November, 2024). Development Officer Rubber Board Arunabha Majumder informed the Governor about various programs of Rubber Board. A documentary film was also shown to the Governor.
The Governor then visited the Rubber Board Exhibition Hall, Regional Research Station, Soil Analysis Laboratory etc. Briefly interacting with the media the Minister the Governor said that Tripura is the second highest rubber producing state in the country after Kerala. Rubber plays an important role in improving the rural economy of Tripura. High quality rubber plant seedlings are distributed to the rubber farmers of the State from the Rubber Board. They are also providing training to rubber farmers.
