Hon’ble Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud (D.Y. Chandrachud) took oath as the 50th Chief Justice of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday (9th November, 2022). Hon’ble President of India Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to the Hon’ble Justice D.Y. Chandrachud as the Chief Justice of India.
Hon’ble Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Hon’ble Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and other dignitaries were present in the taking oath ceremony.
