Agartala, Tripura, 3rd of March, 2026 : Lok Bhavan Tripura today hosted a formal felicitation ceremony to recognize the exemplary achievements and dedicated service of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets of Tripura. The ceremony honored the dedicated cadets who represented the state with distinction at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 and the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) 2025. These prestigious national-level events demand the highest standards of physical fitness, discipline, and skill, and the success of these awardees reflects the growing excellence of NCC units across the state.
The program featured a detailed presentation on the recent milestones achieved by NCC NER and Tripura NCC. Following the presentation, the Honorable Governor, Shri N. Indrasena Reddy, personally interacted with the awardees and presented citations acknowledging their meritorious performance and service to the nation.
In a significant highlight of the evening, the NCC expressed its gratitude to the head of state and his office by felicitating both the Honorable Governor, Shri N. Indrasena Reddy, and his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Squadron Leader Prasad Patwardhan, with the Life Membership of the NCC Alumni Association (NCCAA). Both were presented with official NCC Alumni Certificates during the proceedings in recognition of their continued support and association with the organization.
The event concluded with an inspiring address by the Honorable Governor to the gathered cadets, officers, and dignitaries. This was followed by a group photograph and high tea, providing the awardees a unique opportunity to interact closely with the Governor and senior officials.
