Agartala, Tripura, 9th of March, 2026 : The IAAD Inter Zonal Badminton Tournament 2025–26, organised by the Office of the Principal Accountant General, Tripura, got underway here on Monday.
The tournament was inaugurated by Shri Shailendra Vikram Singh, Principal Accountant General (Audit). Among others present on the occasion were Shri Ranendu Sarkar, Accountant General (A&E) and Shri Kavyadeep Joshi, Senior Deputy Accountant General (Admin), besides other officers and officials.
As many as 27 teams from IAAD offices across the country are participating in the tournament, with over 150 players competing in different events.
The four-day tournament is being held at the Badminton Hall of NSRCC, Agartala. The event aims to promote sportsmanship, camaraderie and a spirit of healthy competition among the participating offices of IAAD.
