New Delhi, Delhi, 15th of August 2025 : Indian Institute of Management Mumbai celebrated the 79th Independence Day alignment with the national “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The day commenced with a spirited campus marathon early in the morning, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony and prize distribution.

During his address, Prof. Manoj Tiwari underscored the enduring significance of India’s freedom struggle and highlighted IIM Mumbai’s accomplishments, including securing the 6th position in the NIRF India Rankings 2024, reaffirming the institute’s dedication to academic excellence and national development.
The occasion then proceeded with a prize distribution ceremony. Certificate of appreciation, and medals were awarded to marathon winners.

The event received robust support from across the IIM Mumbai community, involving faculty, staff, students, and their families, reflecting a shared sense of commitment to institutional values and national pride.
