Nagpur, 2nd of June, 2025 : In a heartfelt celebration of Hindi literature, Dr.BhimarayaMetri, Director of the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur, officially launched two Hindi story collections—Kiski Jeet, KiskiHaar and Nainon Ki Aas—authored by renowned fiction writer Ms. Kumud Chaturvedi. The launch event, held on the IIM Nagpur campus, was attended by a large gathering of literature enthusiasts, faculty, staff and students.

The occasion was the celebration of timeless storytelling and the power of human connection through Hindi literature.
Reflecting on the narratives within the books, Dr.Metri reminisced about his childhood and emphasized the life lessons embedded in the stories. “Both books are poignant reflections of life’s realities, beautifully brought to light by the author. One must learn to fail and fail to learn, as those who embrace failure gain deeper wisdom,” he remarked. Citing Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, he added, “crisis is the best friend of innovation—challenges should be welcomed as opportunities to grow.”
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vivek Shrouti, GM-Evonith Steel, Wardha, Nagpur praised the literary depth of the books, highlighting Ms. Chaturvedi’s artistic prowess. “These collections are a testament to the author’s creative vitality and her mastery of storytelling. Even at this distinguished stage in her life, she captures the complexity of human relationships with remarkable clarity and insight.”
Professor Rakesh Gupta from IIM Nagpur echoed these sentiments, stating, “Ms. Chaturvedi exemplifies the adage that ‘age is just a number.’ Her writing resonates emotionally with readers of all generations and reaffirms her standing as a literary gem.”
Prominent literary figure and critic Ms. Rati Chaubey lauded the books for their emotional depth and social relevance. “Ms. Chaturvedi skillfully portrays human emotions and behavioral nuances, making these collections seminal contributions to Hindi literature.”

In her address, Ms. Kumud Chaturvedi expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr.Metri and IIM Nagpur for their support. “This gesture by the Institute not only honors my work but also showcases its deep respect and encouragement for Hindi literature,” she said.
The event served as a reminder of the enduring power of storytelling and the value of nurturing literary talent across languages and generations.
