Bengaluru, Karnataka, 7th of March, 2025 :On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, a report was released by Aditya Birla Education Trust, according to which the mental health of women is deteriorating. This research was done on about 13 lakh women, which includes everyone from college students to corporate women and rural women. This report was released by collecting data on the type of challenges faced by all of them in their respective fields and the impact it has on their lives.
Dr. Chanchal Sharma, Director and Gynecologist of Asha Ayurveda, while talking on this subject, said that nowadays the stress of work, career stress and worries of home have increased so much on women that their mental health is deteriorating. This deteriorating mental health can also be the cause of many diseases and sometimes it also becomes the cause of unknown infertility.
Despite so many cases of suicide in our society, people do not openly talk about mental health due to fear of society. This is a problem that has become a part of all our lives, willingly or unwillingly. No one is untouched by it in today’s time. Women’s mental health is deteriorating due to domestic violence, sexual harassment and career tension, but they avoid talking about it.
