Khowai, Tripura, 4th of September, 2026 : With the initiative of the Yadav Mahasabha organized Shri Krishna Janmashtami Festival and Fair at Khowai on Friday (4th September, 2026). The Shri Krishna Janmashtami Festival and Fair was formally inaugurated by the guests through the lighting the ceremonial Lamp.
The young artists of Madhu Nikon Dance Society marked the beginning of the inaugural programme with their captivating dance and musical performances.
Khowai Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Singh Roy (Dutta) and Khowai District Magistrate & Collector Rajat Pant address in detail about the significance of Shri Krishna Janmashtami during the programme. A large gathering of devotees was seen at the event, reflecting the enthusiasm and devotion of the people. The fair will continue for the next seven days, and the organisers have invited all devotees and members of the public to visit and participate in the celebrations.
Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Social activist Samir Kumar Das, Municipal Council Chairman Debashish Nath Sharma, along with organization president Samiran Ghosh, Ranjit Gope and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
