Krishna Janmashtami is a Hindu festival that marks the birth of Lord Krishna. Considered the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, he is the preserver among the Trinity. Lord Krishna’s birth is celebrated widely as Krishna Janmashtami or Gokul Ashtami.
