Mumbai, Maharashtra, 21st of May, 2025 : As per the latest TRAI report, Reliance Jio now serves 4.3 million mobile subscribers in the North East telecom circle as of March 31, 2025. This steady growth highlights Jio’s continued efforts to improve connectivity and expand access to digital services across the region. The NE circle includes Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.

Serving a diverse and often difficult terrain, Jio has worked to strengthen its mobile network in both urban centres and remote areas across the eight North Eastern states. With a focus on affordability and reliability, Jio’s services have helped more people come online—whether it’s students attending classes, small shop owners using digital payments, or families staying in touch with loved ones.
The company has also introduced JioFiber and JioAirFiber to select areas, supporting the growing need for high-speed internet at home. These services are helping residents access online learning, remote work opportunities, and digital entertainment.
While challenges remain, Jio’s consistent growth points to a positive shift in digital inclusion in the region. The increasing subscriber base is a reflection of how telecom, supported by sustained investment and local outreach, can make a meaningful difference. Jio’s journey in the North East is ongoing—and rooted in the goal of connecting more people to a better digital future.
