Kaman Chowmuhani Renamed Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Chowmuhani.

“The present State Government believes in actions and not words the Government wants to touch people’s hearts through development work” said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at unveiling the statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram Bust and various projects of Agartala Smart City at Granduise Chowmuhani, Agartala on Friday (31st March, 2023). The projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister today are, adjacent to Kaman Chowmuhani in Agartala, named after Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Chowmuhani at Sarala intersection, thematic bus shelters at Umakanta Academy, Nandannagar and IGM Chowmuhani and flood drainage pump house at Maharajganj Bazar. 

The Chief Minister also added that the representatives of the G-20 countries are coming to Tripura for the meeting Tripura’s cultural heritage and tourist centers will be exposed to foreign delegates so that they are more attracted to Tripura. Tripura will be established as a developed state in the country in the coming days.

“The present State Government came to power, efforts have been made to organize the city of Agartala in different ways in the Agartala Smart City project. The Government is working to solve the basic needs and problems of the citizens. Initiatives have been taken to beautify the city by providing healthy civic services to the city dwellers, improving the drainage system along with renovating roads, drains”, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder said at the inauguration ceremony of Agartala Smart City’s various projects.

CEO of Agartala Smart City Limited Dr. Sailesh Kumar Yadav gave details of the Agartala Smart City projects that were inaugurated today.  Hon’ble Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Manika Das Datta, Muhammad Sajad, Addl. Municipal Commissioner, Social activist Sanjoy Saha, officials and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
