Amarpur, Tripura, 11th of June 2026 : With the initiative of block technology team (BTT) of Killa Khet Bachao Abhiyan Campaign programme has been organized here in Killa Town hall in Udaipur today. On this occasion a large number of farmers and concerned departmental officials and KVK Gomati staffs have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the event. Under the able guidance and supervision of the superintendent of Agriculture Killa this special campaign has created motivational awareness amidst the participant farmers. Under ATMA Kharif scheme 2026 the department of agriculture and farmers welfare are found in promptness to create essential awareness amidst farmers over Khet Bachao Abhiyan.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries Shri Rama Pada Jamatia, hon’ble speaker, TLA has interacted directly with the present farmers of the event and provided them essential tips over the concerned issue.

As per the report, The objective of the Khet Bachao Abhiyan (KBA) is to create awareness amongst farmers about the balanced use of fertilizers and other agricultural inputs based on soil testing. The Khet Bachao Abhiyaan helps farmers to train and enhance their capacity in the use of balanced fertilizers, green manure, and organic/biological products. To promote natural farming through awareness programmes, training, and field demonstrations. and to improve soil health and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers by conducting demonstrations on farmers’ fields on green manure, organic manure, integrated nutrient management (INM), and the correct application of agricultural inputs this kind of rogramme is most significant for the cultivators.

To encourage sustainable agricultural practices leading to improved soil health, reduced cultivation cost and enhanced farm profitability the programme has provided many scientific tips to the present 407 participant farmers. Amidst the others there were DDA, Gomati, BAC chairman and Gomati KVK staffs remained present in the programme.
