Khowai Anganwadi Workers Submit 7-Point Charter of Demands to CDPO.

Khowai, Tripura, 30th of July, 2026 : Anganwadi workers under the Khowai Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) organized a rally before submitting a deputation to the CDPO office on Wednesday (29th July, 2026). The workers marched through the town demanding the immediate resolution of several long-pending issues affecting Anganwadi services and staff.

At around 1:00 PM, a delegation of Anganwadi workers met CDPO office official Sandipan Saha and submitted a seven-point charter of demands. The memorandum highlighted various problems faced by the workers and called for prompt action by the authorities.

Interacted with media Anganwadi workers said that the seven-point charter of demands highlighted various issues and problems faced by the Anganwadi workers. Anganwadi workers also stated that if their demands are not met immediately, they will launch a larger-scale agitation. All Anganwadi workers under the Khowai ICDS Project were present during today’s deputation.
