Lalita Jewellery Enters the Stock Market After Gold, Silver and Diamonds.

Mumbai, Maharashtra, 12th of August, 2026 : Lalita Jewellery Mart Limited, which has established a strong presence in the South Indian jewellery market, is now set to make its debut in the capital markets. The company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) will open on August 17, 2026, and close on August 19, 2026. The company has fixed a price band of ₹190 to ₹201 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 each.

Investors can bid for a minimum of 74 shares, with subsequent applications available in multiples of 74 shares. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹1,200 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to ₹500 crore by promoter M. Kiran Kumar Jain, taking the total issue size to approximately ₹1,700 crore.

Operating under the ‘Lalita’ brand, the company offers an extensive range of gold, silver and diamond jewellery tailored to the preferences of South Indian consumers. As of March 31, 2026, Lalita Jewellery had 61 stores across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Puducherry. These stores are spread across 51 cities, covering a total area of approximately 650,881 sq. ft.

A key strength of the company is its in-house manufacturing capability, which enables it to focus on offering jewellery at competitive prices. The availability of BIS-hallmarked jewellery across all its stores is also an important part of the company’s brand positioning.

According to a CRISIL report, Lalita Jewellery recorded notable operating revenue per store among leading organised jewellery brands in India. The figure stood at ₹410.23 crore in FY2026, compared with ₹281.62 crore in FY2025 and ₹316.76 crore in FY2024.

The company has developed a standardised template covering store location, size and customer experience. According to Lalita Jewellery, this model is designed to help the company expand in existing markets while enabling faster entry into new markets.
